NOS, NX, CompuCar or others

I am going to be adding nitrous to my 350 TPI 88 IROC soon and I am trying to do some research on all of the available systems out there. I do not care to go past what my stock bottom end will support for the time being.

So far, I have looked into NX and NOS. NOS uses a plate between the TB and Plenum and NX just uses their 'shark' nozzle somewhere on the intake duct work. Off the cuff, I like the idea of the plate better, but I have never 'squeezed' an efi car.

I guess what I am looking for from you guys is any specific experiences with one or all of the nitrous systems available.

Is there a system that is way better than the rest?
By better I mean - it is more proficient at adding the advertised hp.

Which ones are the easiest to install?(I would think NX has this one)

and last but not least, does anyone have anything for sale?

hey, I have a little experience with nitrous. In my oppinion, the NOS system is the way to go. It is easier to install... No holes to drill in your throttle body or plenum, it is a little cleaner, and you can remove it really easy. I also feel that NOS is a higher quality than nitrous express. As far as horse power ratings, Most are a little high, mostly because of the altitude variances, and they usually dyno in near perfect conditions. You can however just change the jets to tune the system to your own liking. You will also want to run a wet shot versus a dry, I do belive that both of the systems that you are concidering are wet.
On the 350 that you have, you can shoot 100-125 hp all day long and have no worries. I have installed several of the kits on third gens. I deal nitrous, parts, and kits. I have a line on just about all of the brands...NOS, NX, NW. I have a kit on my convertible, it is all hidden under the manifold. Pretty trick, and clean too. That is also an option, but more expensive, and time consuming.http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...UMCheater.html
