Advice needed: should I supercharge or not?

I have a 1989 Firebird that has bested 11.09 @ 122 n/a on pump gas. It is at around 11:1 compression. Of course, if I did so, I would swap out pistons to lower the compression a bit, but I am looking for 9's out of it and I know boost is the way to go. What compression should I drop to and how much boost out of what blower would get me there?

I've only seen one local blown 3rd gen running 9's. I dont know how much CI, no idea on his CR, and not sure how much boost, but I do know he is using a Vortech YS-Trim Blower and a SBC motor. Sorry I dont have any of the good info.

I ran a pair of T3s on my 88 IROC with 10.5 to 1 pistons and all I got was destroy plugs. I'm going down to 8.5 to 1 next. What block do you have? A ZZ4? I was going to replace my old ZZ4 .030 over block with a new bare one with JE pistons a everybody thinks that 700hp is way too much for the short block. I was planning to use a main cap studs and wirder and studs on the heads. With 8.5 to 1 you can run 15 to 20 PSI if you have aluminum heads, large injectors and a large intercooler.
