Smaller sizes of nitrous bottles available? Pics of nos setups welcome
I really want to run a smaller shot, around 50-75 hp just for kicks for a couple track runs a year. But i use the car as a daily driver and I do all my installs with everything hidden. The interior is brand new and I don't want a huge nos bottle sticking out on the rear deck. So my questions is, do they man. a 5lb or so bottle. I really wanted something I could hide in the compartment we have back on the drivers side. If anyone has seen this please send me a link. I have seen the little sneeky pete system, but that is ridiculously small. I think a 5lb bottle would fit fine. Has anyone managed to cram a 10lb'er in there??? Pics of your setups would be awesome.... Thanks fellas

Not the spare tire well, on the other side. I like having the spare around...

As the bottle size gets smaller you get much less usable N2O volume because the N2O isn’t really useable after it drops below a certain pressure. If your setup gets 15passes on a 15lb bottle you’ll probably get about 9 on a 10lb, and maybe 3 on a 5lb. 3 5lb bottles will be good for fewer passes then a single 15.
FWIW, I’ve managed to wedge a 15lb bottle in behind the trim panel, in the spare tire well on my ’83 TA, ’87 Formula and ’97 TA… In all three cases I made a custom bracket that bolted to the spare tire mount so it didn’t rattle or touch the sheet metal or plastic…

i believe if you take out the little cardboard back to that side, you will find theres a bit more room on the drivers side... since you obviously want to keep the spare.
i would think a 10lb bottle would fit in there....... perhaps not thru the lil door, but if you dont mind removing the trim piece to get it in and out........
