Injector question

I just got a Vortech SQ S-trim and I'm going to install it on my 89 Z. I'm converting to the 749ECM for timing & fuel. What size of injectors should I use. Should have approx 6-7psi on a 383 with a Miniram etc. Was thinking of a set of 36's, 38's. Or may be bigger?????

Depends on fuel rail, octane in use, and HP of car.

How much HP you think your 383 will produce?

I'd think with the S trim 500hp is reasonable. If the inlet temps are down, we're talking 38# injectors at a reasonable fuel pressure.. (45lbs).

Right now I'm putting out 310rwhp, 420rw lb/ft. Probably going to go with about 6-7 psi of boost

Hi,

6-7 non intercooled psi, after timing adjustments is around 130 hp, give or take.

I'd go with a 38#..

Yeah. Just make sure you have 'em cleaned and flow tested. Since it will be an unmatched set.
