Turbo intake?
i was looking into running a nice set of twin turbos on my car. i would be completely rebuilding the engine like the following. so far i have everything picked out except the turbos, the intake, and the cam. i would like some help with those.
Engine specs:
stock block cleaned, decked, honed, and bored .030 over
Scat 4340 forged crank
Scat Forged H Beam rods
Forged TRW dished pistons
76cc AFR 195s
i was looking into the holley stealth ram, but it wont fit under my stock firebird hood without clearencing which i really dont want to do. i saw someone is running a twin setup with an Accel Super Ram but i didnt know if that would be the best option for me?
what about cam specs? i know cams need a larger lobe seperation so i was lookin gat something in the 116LSA range and under .600 lift to kinda save on spring wear.
Also what about turbo sizes? a while back me and a buddy looked at some compressor maps and picked out a pair of Gt-38 turbos. im not sure if those would be a good match for my engine tho if i didnt go with the HSR...
tuning would be done by a Commander 950, power band i would like to have is 2000-6500 or so. thanks for the help.

I'm not sure I know what you mean by "best option for me". Pick your intake based on rpm range & HP, and you'll do fine. With forced induction, just about any intake will work, so get whatever is convenient. Drawbacks I've heard is that the LT1 & Miniram had some flow distribution issues at higher horsepower levels (650+). I don't know if that's been corrected now or not. FWIW, I ran the SuperRam without any problems, and now have the Accel Pro-Ram (a single plane intake like the Victor Jr.).
