Nitrous/Fuel Supply
I'm going to be putting nitrous on my currently stock motor this spring.
Currently I'm planning on the following:
Edelbrock Performer manifold
Rebuilt stock carb
75-100hp nitrous kit
headers, y-pipe
3" cat back exhaust
Will the stock fuel pump be able to handle the demands, or should I upgrade? And if I should upgrade, will a mechanical pump fit the bill or should I go electric?
Thanks,
Keith

If you are thinking about upgrading, it can't hurt. I believe that the stock pump will handle that amount of nitrous, but if you don't want to take any chances, then upgrade to a better (mechanical) pump. You really don't need an electric pump for such a small hit of nitrous. If you were running somewhere around 200 horse of nitrous, then I would reccomend an electric pump just for the nitrous system. I hope this helps.
