Low 13's possible.......
With the ATI ProCharger on a 88 GTA 5.7L with it being totally stock? Now I'm talking stock engine and trans. Just stick it on and go. Just looking for some speculation. I may have to put one of these on my car this summer to go play around and keep up with the LS 1 boys. Granted traction will be a factor.
I will have aftermarket high flow exhaust and cat. Just curious. I wanted to see how far I could go before getting into the engine. I do have experience with blowers, but not with a fuel injection blower combo.

I ran a 13.06 (at 3,070 feet elevation) with a stock-bottomed 305, Crane 2032 cam, Corvette heads and 6-psig boost made by a Paxton years ago. I then ran without the blower to see how much improvement the cam and heads made alone -- quicker by 0.8 seconds. So I would think you could get in the 13.3 - 13.6 range with the stock cam and heads on a 350 with only 6 pounds of boost....

Hmmm. That sounds promising. With the extra torque that the 350 makes and the extra boost then that should make up for the heads and cam. I'll bet that felt pretty good with a 305.

I’ve run a 13.5 with a stock L98 + cold air intake and cat back in my ’87 Formula… so I’d be very disappointed if a similar setup + blower didn’t run in at least the 12’s.

Hey Maniacc nice car. I'm into snowmachines too. I have a 2000 ZR700. I love it. Also have a 4wheeler a 92 Suzuki 250 Quad Racer with a Duncan Racing enging kit. Now that thing gets down the road.

MdFormula350, what track do you run at? there are times that I'm down at capitol every friday night... Let me run your car and I'll run a 13
Tony89GTA, The times that i posted are my new times, with the new trans and convertor and drag radials. I logged the run on my auto x-ray and was seeing 10-12 degrees of knock retard.
In the spring time, i'll have my DFI, in and tuned along with 42lbs injectors. hopefully the car will run better.
And sorry 83 crossfire ta, but not all of us are experienced dragracers, I have only made about dozen 1/4 mile runs in my life, so i'm sure with practice i most likely could get into the 12's...geez, I'm only .065 away...
so i'm not discouraged at all with my times.
ColdGTA, gotta love the sleds, mines a 98 ZR600... I'm hoping to next year get a new 900 twin. also i have a 91 honda 250X 4 wheeler to play around on in the months with no snow.

With a stock L98 with K&N, Punched .030, SVO 24# Flowmaster Catback, MSD Probillet and 6AL, 3:43 gears and a 700r4 with transgo shift kit. Breathing through the stock unmodded duct I put down only a 14.5. Without the airbox and breathing though just the elbow and descreened MAF only gained me 6hp.
I want to know what cold air and catback your running b/c my friend you have either a freak or a bird landed in the quarter beams.
BTW I put down 216 to the wheels, Mustang Numbers. Don't know the conversion percentage for DynoJet. I have a nice 150shot NX kit staring at me right now though that needs installed

I guess that neither of you learned to read, huh? The top of the forum has a sticky of list rules including:
The car is not a freak, there's nothing strange about the track (as a matter of fact I've run similar times at 3 different tracks), but I have run better times in every car I've owned then most people have expected. It had an SLP cold air intake and SLP cat back (the muffler has now been replaced by a dynomax with a single 3" tailpipe). It also had stock, 16" wheels with the factory, 16y/o (at the time) eagle ZR's on it. The only other thing I can think of that was done to it at the time was I modified the stock FPR to be adjustable and descreened/ported the MAF (but it runs the same times with a second MAF with the screen but requires a different fuel pressure to do it)
Signature images, attachments, uploaded pictures, and avatars MAY NOT have any scantily clad people in them, anything that is not of good intentions, family friendly, or work friendly. Please do not attach images or other files which have no bearing on a thread and do not attach images of your car in every post. If your sig is more than 5 lines of text, or contains an image greater than 30k or 400x100 pixels, please do your best to reduce it's size.

About 12 years ago a friend put a Paxton 6psi supercharger kit on his 1987 Formula 350 - all it had beyond that was Edelbrock headers and Banks cat-back. The car ran 14.5 at 95mph on the motor and 12.9 at 107mph with only the supercharger. The motor was dead stock inside. The kit did come with water injection - which worked like a charm.
