Quick ATI FMU question
I'm trying to figure out which opening is the inlet and which is the outlet. Temporarily, I'm considering running it with my setup.. and I don't have the instructions to go with it.
I don't really like how ATI routes the lines all the way over to the driver's side firewall and gives you cheesy adapters to cut into your stock lines, and I'm running a Stealth Ram. So, I'm running a -6 line to the fuel rail, and I have a normal regulator on the return side of course. I'm going to run a -6 AN to 1/8" NPT fitting and put the FMU right on the outlet of the HSR regulator, I think it will work a lot better this way.. unless someone can give me a reason why it wouldn't. It should do the same thing as ATI intended it to, without the 4 feet of rubber hoses.
Anyway, am I correct in assuming the hole in the bottom is the inlet from the fuel rail, and the one on the side is the outlet to go back to the tank?

there is nothing wrong with it being mounted closer to the regulator.

Don't hang one off the other/make a proper bracket and you won't have any problems.
Man are those things ugly out of the box. The only thing worse is the sticker Paxton sticks to them.
