Ordering a Procharger soon

Alright guys I need some help. I dont know a whole lot about supercharging. My friend and I built a 383 with 9.75 compression with hypereutectic pistons. Dart 64cc 200cc heads (also ported). Crane Cams CRN-104224 cam, 1.6 ratio roller rockers, Bigger TPI base, runners, and 52mm throttle body, Headers, full 3in. exhaust, 30lb. Ford injectors, MSD6AL, MSD wires and blaster coil, custom chip. I dropped the engine in and got it running well and have about 1,000 miles on it. I am in the process of ordering a Procharger in a couple of days due to one of my friend oweing me money and he knows a guy that is getting me a deal on it. I was going to get the P600B kit with the 3-core intercooler upgrade. To get the P-1SC instead it will cost me $450 extra, from what I'm already going to pay,which I dont have due to other expenses. I can wait a month and get the P-1SC. I'm not driving the car currently since I work and with my little time I have I'm in the process of sanding the car down to paint it. My question is this. With 9.75 compression can I run one of these blowers and still run on 93 octane fuel? Also should I wait a month and buy the P-1SC blower instead? What kind of power inprovements do you think I'm going to see? Will I need bigger injectors? Any suggestions on anything else? Also if you have any questions about my setup just ask. Thanks a ton guys.

Not to sound like a smart a_s BUT, You can get the compression right when you put in the new forged pistons that you need. If not you will have your hands full. I wouldn't run to much boost, and the kit will come with a FMU so the injectors can stay. What are the specs on the cam? lift, dur.@ .050, LSA?

Thanks for responding. What does FMU stand for? I know when it senses boost that it ups the fuel pressure but what is it? Here are the cam specs;
Specifications:
* Advertised duration: 270 intake/276 exhaust
* Duration at .050 in.: 214 intake/220 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .452 in. intake/.465 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 112 degrees
* RPM range: 2,000 to 5,500

I have 1.6 ratio rockers that I think brings the gross valve lift to over .500 I believe.

What do you think, wait and get the P-1SC? If I had the $ to pull the engine back out and put forged pistons in and have it balanced again I would. Also my block is a 2 bolt main. Think it can take the power? Thanks alot for your thoughts.

Fuel management unit, it raises fuel pressure in relation to boost. Make sure you have a good fuel pump.

I think your cam is a little small for even a naturally aspirated 383.

save even more money and get a D1SC

You need to have a 4 bolt and I hope you have a forged steel crank
Thanks alot for your thoughts.

No I dont have a forged crank. You think I should just skip the supercharger idea and use the money that I would have used for the supercharger and get Nitrous or something?

Yes, Forget making a ton of power until you own a engine capable of supporting that kind of power.
