Will my engine handle it?

Hey guys, I have a 92 Rs with the LO3 TBI. Im just wondering if my engine could handle nitrous, it has 106K miles on it. I want to get it a little faster but dont have enough cash to swap the engine.

I ran a 150 shot to my L03. I had it on there for the better part of four years and finally got tired of waiting for the motor to blow up and ditched the L03. they can handle alot more than I ever expected.

there is no reason why a 305 wouldn't withstand the same punishment as a comprable 350.

So an 80 shot wont "send my cast pistons to the bottom of my oil pan"?

shouldn't. you should be able to get away with about a 100 shot consistantly

Just make sure your tune is right, 100 shot is no problem for your v8.

Once you start running too much timing and some crappy gas, or go lean then you are in trouble.

Back the timing a little, run some good fuel, and make sure you are not going lean, 100 shot everyday of the week on a good running engine.
