AC to Air Intercooler
I was just messing around looking up stuff through google and I came across this.
http://www.ford.com/en/innovation/en...Combustion.htm
Look's like finally someone is going to try to plumb a intercooler with freon.
Here's another link to it off Vortech's site.

Might be interesting to see how it works and to see if it actually makes more power on a regular gas motor to overcome the AC being turned all the time.
Maybe then people could start using the idea on their roots blowers with the TBS and superchiller.
BTW, does anyone know what PSI the superchiller tubes are rated to? I know the blower shop design ones are 100 PSI I'm guessing the other is close to the same.

I don't think that it is being used all the time.
When you don't need the power you use the A/C to cool the intercooler media (like water with anifreeze).
Then you can use the cold water for short WOT runs and cool it in between.
It is like an air/water intercooler that you can load with ice, but you don't have to bring the ice.
It is great for drag-racing but it does not work for long auto-x / high speed races because the water will get hot.
I don't know anything about the Ford engine but that is how I se that you could use the A/C on our cars.
