how to tap into fuel line

how to tap into fuel line
ok i got all my nitrous hooked up except for one thing, i need to know the best way to tap into the fuel line for the added fuel.
i know that where the primary fuel line connects into the rubber hose for about 1foot, then back into the steel line, i was thinking i could unscrew the hose and somehow stick a tee fitting in their? who has done this before?

here we go i get this 3/8" to 4an compression thing
and a 4an x3 tee fitting, and then i just need something to convert the other 4 an side so the female side of the fuel line can screw on..
our primary fuel lines at that spot are a 3/8" connection right?
