Need a little nitrous advice....
I just recently installed a NX kit on my car. I put both solenoids under my plenum just to see how nice I could hide the system. I put an EGR block off plate down to make some room under the plenum. I do have the fuel solenoid mounted a few inches away on the front and the nitrous solenoid back a few inches with the supply lines neatly tucked in the middle. My question is this...will the heat from the EGR block off plate cause any problems to the fuel or nitrous lines??? Is there any possible performance loss or potential hazzard???? Opinions welcome.
Sorry for the big pics...

Well let me first say that you did a nice job hiding that system. If it is installed in those pictures, I couldn't see it. lol.
As far as potential hazards, I would say whenever you introduce heat to anything that carries fuel, you always have a hazard. "IF" by chance something should let go, a nice heat source would be glad to melt everything in its path. You might want to think about moving the fuel solenoid away from that plate. Is there any chance you can put it next to or closer to the NOS solenoid?

I can possibly move the fuel solenoid back a bit, but because I have all the lines under there as well, some of them will still be resting on my block off plate. I can maybe make the lines shorter but I really do not want to play with AN fittings if I don't have to. I was curious how much heat the lines could safely take??? I sure l do not want to have my car burn to the ground, but I also like the fact the install came out discrete. If I am creating a safety issue I really want to know.
Well the braided lines can take a good amount of heat, but the fuel could possibly evaporate before it ever gets to the solenoid, if it sits idle for too long. If you can possibly get the lines away from that plate, then you are golden. In my opinion, you should try and be as safe as possible. I agree that a clean install is hard to beat, but if you are risking the safety of yourself and your car, then you might want to think twice about it.

I will pull the plenum off tomorrow and have another look to see if I can do anything diferent. If not, I will look at alternate locations. Thanks for the input.
route the nitrous line next to the fuel line.
when your spraying, the nitrous line gets cold enough to FROST. trust me, even if the fuel line is 220* not only is it FAR from the flash point of gas, but it will actually be cool when you spray.
