turbo TBI air choke

If i had a carbed race motor running dual quad 600 cfm carbs (1200 cfm) N/A, and i wanted to go with a 670 cfm TBI with about 25 PSI of boost, would the fact that the actual throttle body diddnt flow as well make a huge difference since its going to be boosted? assuming i had big enough injectors. big block motor has about 700 HP now

Basically you’ll get what you would get if you ran your engine with a 670cfm TB NA, plus the extra power of forcing 25psi through that combination. There’s a lot of variables there, but to give you an idea, lets say that you had an NA combination that made 700hp and then added 25psi boost and made 1400 (a reasonable expectation for that amount of boost), if you swapped the 670 onto it and you’re NA power dropped to 500hp, then your boosted power would be about 1000hp.
