check this out! I new my car has not been gaining the time I expected out of it when I hit the juice. Well its my own damn fault. I was in a rush when I out the intake , nos plate and carb on. I decided to take it off to see if anything was wrong or if my spray bars in my plate had got turned or something. well when I took the carb off I noticed something unusual. The top of my intake has a clover shape. Well the clover shape actually came in further thatn I thought. When my nos plate is sitting on the intake the last 2 holes in the spray bars are actually pointing straight at the top of the intake where the clover shape protrudes into the plenum area. Since there is 2 holes on each side of the bar that makes a total of 4 holes on each end of the bar hitting a damn wall when it comes out!!!! not only that but I am sure the distribution is all messed up when it does this as well!!! So I fixed the problem and hope to gain a few tenths when I go back to the track.. I am looking for some 9.40's or 9.50s' out of it.... I have been some 9.70's so who knows...

 

What kit are you using and what times were you getting b4/after the nitrous?

 

I have a tnt plate system. the car was running 10.70's to 10.80's na and then with a 250 shot it was only getting down to a 9.70. On my old setup I was gaining 1.5 to 1.8 sec off with just a 200 shot...
