When posting ebay stuff, *PLEASE* actually cut/paste product description and a picture. Thirdgen.org relies heavily on searchable posts, and in a couple weeks, that ebay link will be disfunctional and utterly useless in a search... I'll do this for you this time, but don't make me say it again

On second thought, since I'm tearing the guy a new one... perhaps I won't push it too far.

And now the part where I tear this product apart.

Electric Supercharger kit for all years/models of Pontiac... 150 CFM
Interesting, since a 2.0l ecotec uses more than 150 cfm above 6000 RPM. This couldn't even feed a 2.8.
Unlike typical superchargers that get power from engine belts and can easily damage and blow cylinders
Wait, wait. You mean this can't easily blow things up? Well, since internal damage is a natural occurance with excessive HP gains, WTF good is this?
the Electric Supercharger gets its power from the vacuum inside the throttle body as well as the 12 V power supply from your car battery.
From the vacuum? You mean the engine sucking air through this restrictive POS is somehow supposed to make it PUSH more air?! This moron's hilarious!!!
This is by far the best electric supercharger on the market for your money
Nope. I got a better one for $25, not $160. i.e., its CFM rating actually exceeded my motor's requirements, it had a current draw that dimmed my lights and required a relayed setup, and it actually bumped my idle up 50-100 RPM and my free-rev redline 500-1000 RPM. (please don't ask me how)
low 2.7 amp draw
Well, here's where things finally hit the fan (no pun intended). 2.7 amps * 13.8 volts (nominal) == 37.26 watts. 37.26 watts is not enough energy to compress air in a manner worthy of being defined as compressed. (say you're using 60 CFM at 1000 RPM.. it *might* be able to push you to 60.5 CFM, if it's extremely lucky)... that's a gain of under 1%... not noticable... definitely not worth 160 bucks..

Now THIS is an electric supercharger. 15,000 watts of current draw. 3 6hp electric motors. Yep, 18hp to compress that air. Benchmark any future electric supercharger questions against this

I find the price prohibitave when compared to JY turbocharging, personally... I'm just glad there's an electric supercharger out there that really works to show the difference between a real unit and an "eBay leaf blower"...
