I have access to a 5.7L IROC engine. I am thinking of gettin the whole donor car for $700. I haven't yet talked to the guy selling it, but from what I saw, it had about 90,000 miles on it. I want to get it and swap it, but I want to know what supercharger will go on it? Vortech has a supercharger for 88-92 Camaros, but what is the difference between an 87 and an 88 engine that would not make it work?Anyone know a site WITH a supercharger for an 87? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Serpentine belts is the difference. Convert to serpentine and the supercharger kit will fit just fine.
