Anyone out there use high level octane gas for the street? Like a 106 octane level...
Would there be any significant gains in using this?
How badly would it speed up the breakdown process of my/an engine?
Rather expensive, but thought it could be worthwhile if I was going out for one of those 'special' cruises on a Friday or Saturday night.

I used to cruise around all the time last year with 116 in the tank(with the timing and boost turned up)when I was looking to play. The only problem I ran into was killing plugs and O2 sensors.
Only thing is, if you dont need the extra octane it's only gonna slow you down and going by your sig you probrobly dont need it(unless you've got 12:1 compression or a big shot of juice or something).
HTH,
Steve
