nope, no one makes anything for the v belts anymore. You just have to convert to serpentine with all the serpentine accessories and the water pump as well, and then any of those 88 and up superchargers will bolt right on.

You need the pass side serp bracket/bolts, if you run AC you need the serp compressor>>>if not you need the ac delete pully, you need the waterpump and a later year alternator... You also need the PS pump pully....the pump you can reuse>>the pully has to be removed and a new one added... I think You need the crank pully as well ...

There are some little things as well such as fuel lines.... They wont work...so from the rail I used Accel Fuel rail -6 kit...and then some TPIS saginaw to -6 adaptors...then ran -6 line from the fuel rails to the hard metal line.... Looked much cleaner and cheaper/easier than buying the later year hard lines...

It all sounds more difficult than it actually is... LOL

I disagree, I just put a Weiand 142 onto my '86 T/A that still runs the V belts. Of course the TPI could be a problem.

I assumed he was talking about a centrifugal by the "kit" and so on but you're obviously correct that the roots work lol.

-6 is too small. Shoulda used -8.

I've got the "later year" hard lines sitting on my shelf, as well as some serp brackets, maybe a ps pump too.. If your interested.
