There is a local guy who is selling a used procharger P1SC Kit. Those that have the kits, what should I look for to make sure it is in good shape? It is still on the car so I will be able to check it out in action.

Any know possible weaknesses that I should keep an eye out for?

Make sure the idler bearings aren't worn out. (Easily replaceable 203vv.) Make sure the head unit isn't leaking. Look inside the volute, (snail shaped piece), to make sure the impeller hasn't touched down against the inside of the volute.
