best nirous system for tbi

I think that NOS and NX make a system. Are there any more systems and which one is the best?

Thanks

What ever kit you get make sure it's a wet setup. TBI systems are mostly out of fuel from the factory so there won't be enough capacity left in the injectors for a dry setup. You'll want to replace the stock pump too since it barely keeps up the way it is. Just throw a walbro 190 or 240 in it and be done.

Thanks for the reply, I had planned on a wet system. Has any body had any first hand experience and can point me towards the best system.

Thanks

Nitrous Works makes a 125hp shot wet kit. It was really easy to install and makes an incredible difference in the seat. I disregarded all the opinions and put this kit on without modding any thing else in the fuel system except 5.7 injectors thinking a new engine would be needed after the first shot. The car is on the way to the track tonight for it's first time runs under nitrous (2nd bottle ran through system)

I prefer the NOS system over the others. It is an adjustable plate system with a composite spray bar and is setup very nicely. You also are able to take advantage of the many accessories NOS offers. The Nitrous Works kit is also a plate system, but uses a yellow metal plate which, not only looks ugly, but will probably transfer heat more than the composite NOS plate, and there is not as many accessories available. The NX TBI kit is completely different than any of the others. Instead of a plate, it uses shark nozzles that you drill and tap into the stock gold spacer ring, which you would ideally want to eliminate anyways. I just plain don't like this design at all for TBI applications. For me the winner is NOS. I was planning on running a 75 shot along with 5 pounds of weiand 144 boost, but I have decided against the blower after much thought for numerous reasons, and will only run a single 135 shot of nitrous. Should be fun!

I just got this kit 2 days ago and so far we have the bottle and line installed. We are finishing the rest up this weekend. I am following the same approach you did and just trying the kit as it came with no extras. Let me know how you runs goes and how much time you pick up.
