Question - chips
sorry guys, i was not sure where to begin my new thread. I have a couple questions about chips. I've spent a couple days looking for a chip for my 92 rs 305tbi. Are those "resistors" that you plug into the IAT worth paying the 5 bucks for. You know the ones they sell on ebay as performance chips. If so does anyone know the value of the resistor cause then i could just pick one up from my local radioshack. Any feedback would be great. I just got my camaro a few days ago and i want to mod so far i'm looking at chips and exhaust. Any recommendations on mufflers too would be great with sound clips.

You should advance the timing, go for an open element air filter, and do the ultimate TBI mods. That should cost $20-60 if you need a timing gun. You will see a difference in performance. Then headers and exhaust. No you do NOT want to trick your ecm with a resistor.

I have a the open element I have 11 degress advance on the timing. Think I could go with more advance? I need to do the ultimate tbi mods though
