Window switch and rev limiter
Window switch and rev limiter
When using a spark controlled rev limiter similar to what msd uses with their boxes, is a window switch really necessary? I know it is a must when using a fuel controlled rev limiter, similar to what is used on a lot of factory cars, but would it be necessary with an aftermarket spark controlled rev limiter? The only thing I could see happening is the nitrous stacking up in the cylinders with no spark, and it all igniting at once when the spark is reintroduced. What are your thoughts on this?

Use the window switch it cost me three pistons not using it. Trans broke hit the limiter on the gun never made it into second gear motor started huffing crank case presure. Lifted three ringlands.

Anyone have any recommendations for a brand name of rpm window switch or rev limiter?
Is there one box that does both??
I am at a 75hp shot now and want to go to 100hp shot or more.
