Car: 1989 Camaro IROC-Z28
Engine: D1SC Procharged 350
Transmission: D&D Performance built T-56
Axle/Gears: Moser 12-bolt 3.90
My new SC setup...
I'd like some input on my new motor/SC setup before I start ordering parts...so far, this is what I have put together.
ZZ4 block standard bore
ZZ4 Forged crankshaft
Eagle ESP-5700b3d 5.7 4340 rods rated at 700hp 7500rpms
Speed Pro trw-l2441f d-cup forged pistons 8.71.1 compression with stock l-98 aluminum zz4 heads(58cc)
Plasma-Moly file fit rings
And supplying boost would be a Procharger D1SC @12-15psi, i'm thinking I'll start with 12psi and get it tuned to the t, and then go from there. Any comments/suggestions welcome! BTW, after spending $3,650 for the SC, and another $1k for the pistons/rings/rods, I don't have anything left over for heads, so any input is greatly appreciated.
