supercharging help

I have a 91 350 tpi trans am (pic below), stock except for sfcs, 3 chamber flowmaster (stock dual cats), new tires (225/50/16 front, 245/50/16 rear yoko's) and newly rebuilt 700r4. I want to mod it, but i want to run the bottom end until it dies, so id like to either supercharge or turbo it.

I figure supercharger is easier bolt on wise since it requires no drilling oil pan/valve cover or any custom exhaust work (and correct me if im wrong, it doesnt share oil with the engine so if i spun a bearing on stock motor it wouldnt eat up the sc). If there end up being complications, i have no doubt i can handle them, im just trying to take a slightly friendlier route.

Ive spent alot of time reading the boards trying to figure out how i should start out modding this thing. My question is, what mods besides adjustable fuel pressure reg, msd 6al with BTM, custom programmed chip and free flowing exhaust should i need before installing a procharger?

I realize my car being a '91 is good for this application because of the serp belt and speed density sensor, but are there any other obvious problems i will run into?

Is there a reasonably easy way to intercool the supercharger, and is it necessary?

My plan is to supercharge the stock bottom end, make it run reliably (6psi?), prob do exhaust mods right away (headers, y pipe, highflow cat, diff muffler, etc), possibly do heads/cam in not too distant future (not to mention some suspension/brake/drivetrain mods and maybe better tpi setup like miniram). Once the stock bottom end dies of old age (with a little help with boost), i'll build a nice low compression setup stong enough to handle more boost and maybe some nitrous. My ultimate goal once im done with all of that is to be into the 500hp range.. rwhp if possible (realistic?). Will keeping the egr/AIR junk on the car cause a problem with my plans?

This is kind of a daily driver, so im really just doing these mods to get a little more power to enjoy daily driving a little more hehe.
$ is not really an issue, i want to do it right the first time, but would rather keep stock bottom end for now.

If anyone sees any holes in my plans, please feel free to speak your mind . Sorry for the book i just wrote, just trying to piece this all together, reading the boards gets you so far and you finally have to ask a question to get your bearings straight.

Another slightly related question, are the AFR heads on thunderracing.com reasonably priced ($1324 assembled)? Will they work with stock tpi intake?

Thanks ahead of time to all who answer, and to all who post otherwise so peeps like me can learn by reading.

Either call ProCharger and talk to one of their techs, (they're more than willing to tell you everything you need to know), and get them to mail you some info, or go to their website and request information on your car.

I got answers for a few of those questions.

Intercooling is pretty necessary. If you want to do it right the first time definetly get the intercooler. Better air temps will make more power and allow you to get away with crappy gas.

You can get a self contained procharger which does not require you to drill you the pan. All procharger models with SC at the end are self contained. Ex. P-1SC, D-1SC. On that note I would definetly get the D-1SC. I hear a lot of comments from people wishing they would have just bought the D-1SC instead of the P-1SC..

Another upgrade you might consider are possibly larger injectors.
BTW your stock bottom end can take at least 8-10 lbs if intercooled.
