turbocharging with a carb

Is turbocharging with a carburetor instead of fuel injection a good idea? I read that carburetors provide a cooling effect to the air when its forced through the carb, unlike fuel injection. And since the air is being forced into the carb(rather than sucked in) would gas mileage increase?

thanks.

You can turbocharge with a carb, but fuel injection is better.

Mileage won't increase. The only difference between a turbo carb and turbo FI is that you will be able to electronically tune the FI setup.
