Nitrous blow down tube

Two questions today.

1. Do I have to empty the bottle before I can put the blow down tube on??

2. I have a zex bottle, with external threads. Do I need blow off disks in the blow off tube?

Thanks for your input

I'm not familiar with the Zex bottle, if you have a burst disk, and have the proper threads on it, to attach the BDT, then all you need to do, is attach it, and then get the tube to exit the vehicle properly.

if the burst disk you have, is like the one that came on my NOS bottle (no way to actualy attach the BDT to it), then you will need to empty the bottle, install the new burst disk, and then you can attach the BDT.

Yes the zex bottle has the external threads and then a stock blow off screws on to it.In order to put the blow down tube on it you will need to purchase a new blow off fitting and burst disk.
The NX part number for this part is a 11706.
You will have to have a empty bottle in order to install it.
