144 blower...which heads?

hey all
im prolly getting a 144 blower for my car, now im wondering about which heads, i haev a set of vortec heads at home, but they wont work with the blower. im thinking of double hump heads....i dont wanna hear all this "old technology" stuff, i just wanna know how well they will work. also, ported L98 heads...how well will they work? im really trying to stick with a stock GM casting here...which is best?
my goal is for around 8.0-8.5 compression, and i wanna run a light nitrous shot on it at the track. will have forged pistons, rods and crank. which gm casting heads are best?
i want 500 hp on the juice. around 400 na

I love AFR 195. You can get them for 1300 if you search the web. Why go with gm or cast iron, drop some weight and disperse some heat. You can also get a set of trickflows for 1000 I have even seen sales for 970. As far as gm heads you got me bowtie vortechs are nice but won't work and cost over a grand.
