Interested in nitrous.....

I was looking into a direct port nitrous injection for my LT1. I was going to use a fully programable Nitrous Timers to adjust the nitrous throughout the run to keep traction in the begining but gain better "pull" in the end. Does this sound like the right way to go? If not post suggestions.... By the way anywhere cheap to get this setup, because I have been looking on ebay and havent seen much..

nitro daves is a good place.

I got a 200-600 kit from them.

Definately go progressive controller. You're on the right track, but be careful, you will obviously have to do something about you're fuel system. I'm using a dedicated cell, pump, filter, and regulator for mine.

I am not worried about really being track legal.... So is it essential that I have a dedicated cell, pump, filter, and regulator? If so please explain the reasons.

I wanted one b/c I don't trust stock lines or fuel rails to supply the added fuel. And I can also fill the cell w/ race gas. It depends a lot on how much you want to spray.

How much do you intend to spray? Its worth it to go ahead and buy a quality nitrous system the first time around.Other wise you will just be spending more later. We offer dedicated fuel systems that come complete with pump and all.
Let me know if I can do anything to help you.
