Gee, I wonder which one I would build? The 305 or the 355. There's a tough one.
A TT motor is going to be more of a PITA and more expensive.

not necessarily, if youve seen the website youd know the setups are about the same price as a vortech s/c. hmm, turbos or a s/c......people always seem to offer only sarcasm and no help these days...

yes, the 305 is not that bad, just ignorant people. now the 350 may be better choice due to the availiability and price of pistions in the comp. and style you may want. the only other benifit of the 350 is valve shrouding on a "stock" 305
now the 305 will have better flame control due to the smaller bore (I know there is plenty of info on this around here)
your cam choice well, comp cams shows a mechanical roller cam 300br-14 "for turbo sbc" this has a valve lift of .575/.575 114 lobe sep. 255/262 dur. @.050" this would be better for a 350 or larger and they claim it is a street/strip cam
they have so many more choices if you want to run hyd. lifters, hyd. roller ect. but, this one seems pretty good has a range of 3000-6000 rpm and when I buy my next cam it will be a mech roller.
