Will they handle an ocassional 150 hp hit?

Yes they will handle it if not too lean. Friend has 160k with a stealthram and 150 shot and runs LOW 12's. Has probably 30 bottles through it.

I also ran it on my 305 with at least 50 bottles.........No problems and it was with the OLD NOS TPI plate

I ran the same thing through a HSRed L98, same results too. Just 5 bottles, though.

mine worked good on a 300 fogger shot , but broke 7 of them on a 350 shot

I figure if NOS recommends 150 shot on cast 350 pistons, you should be fine with the hyper. pistons.
