i was thinking about buying a nitrous kit to put on my engine, do you think that a 150 shot would be too much for the engine since its a 350 with about 500hp. if not what do you think would be a safe shot to run on it?

um, the really important question is, can your fuel system support the engine at WOT and the nitrous shot?

 

100 shot should be fine on those pistons, I don't see that combination making much more than 425 horsepower though.

What fordging is the crankshaft, and rods?
