Nice times for only 6psi. How well does the combo drive on the street (being blow-through carbed)?

Makes me wonder how much my stock TPI and heads are hurting me (my best tim was 12.46 with 6psi from two turbochargers on a stock L98). Mine drives nice and gets over 20mpg, but I think it should go a little faster, even at only 6psi of boost.

89jyturbo, you should be running 11.70's w/ a 117 trap speed. I ran 11.69 at 116.87 on AII MOTR

Nice times welterracer, and welcome to the site. You can send a pic to me and I'll post it for ya if you'd like. draggta@gmail.com

The combo drives great... Cam is a little lumpy but not unlivable by any means! vacume is a little low.. but being a stick helps.. car has power stearing and mechanical fan!

Im switching from a 5 inch pulley to a 4 inch pulley, to bring the Pressure up to 15 PSI... engine should make in the 750hp range after that i hope..

thanks for the praise guys..

ooooooh. shiney lol.. Does anyone know where one can score a nice twin inlet carb hat? I have two turbos sitting here now with a carb made for the flowthrough boost.. but I am stuck with the hat. was going to fab one up.. buuuuut.. that is out of the question now since i needed to buy a new welder. Buuuuuut My brother destroyed my sunfire wed night... (tried to drift my stock 5 spd/2.8L 2 door sunfire around a 25mph corner at 50 mph....... needless to say.. when you do something stupid like that in a FWD car.. and there is a tree... things happen....)

Nope.. it wont fit under stock hood.. but you could get away with a 2.5 or 3 inch cowl...

My hood is a 4 inch.. a little on the big side.. but i got a great deal on it..
