spraying a stock L98

Transmission: Th350/4k stall
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.42s
spraying a stock L98

i have a 1991 z28 with 78K. i want to put some spray on it but i not sure how big i should 75-150 shot. will a stock l98 hold a 150 shot or should i just go with a 75 or 100. any advice will help.

It will take a 150 shot. As suggested above do your research. The 150 shot is safe assuming all the necessary precautions/systems are in place (adequate fuel system, ignition system, etc etc.).

I hate it when every one says...search! The boards are to help our fellow brotha's out! Yea, you should do a search before asking, but let the bro ask a question!

To answer your question.......Search! The main thing you have to be concerned about is detonation. Follow the instructions with the nitrous kit, They always say, MAKE SURE you have a good tune! I would not put any more than a 150 shot on a stock engine. And make sure you have 6deg or less initial timing.

Yeah I think the rule of thumb is for every 50 hp shot you run ...retard the timeing 2 deg. Also I would get every safety device you can for it ....i.e window switch , etc . all the neat guages and whatnot.
