Wanting to get a supercharger and need some good advice.

Okay fellas heres what im working with:
1982Z
350/330 HP
9.1:1 Compression Ratio
Nodular Cast Iron Crankshaft
Cast Aluminum Pistons
PM Steel Connecting Rods
Cast Iron 64cc Chamber Vortec Cylinder Heads with 1.94'' Intake and 1.50 Exhaust Valves
Dual Pattern Cam, Lift: .435'' Int. / .460'' Exh., Duration @ .050: 212° Int. / 222° Exh.
1.5 Ratio Rocker Arms
700r4 transmission,2400 converter
373 gears in the rear
This crate engine is just a little over a year old. Ive been looking
at superchargers for a little while now but needing a little advice
on what to get. Im not trying to get real crazy here(maybe 30-40%gains) but I guess what im asking is what if anything needs to be beefed up so it will be able to handle a supercharger, and what brand and size( Ive been looking at the Weiand 142)would be the best bang for my buck. Im just kind of stuck and need some good advice, and I know my ThirdGen brethren can help me out. THANX

You could go with a stronger piston.
Be sure to figure you compression ratio as accurately as you can, and especially if you're changing pistons.

Otherwise I see no reason why you couldn't run what you've got listed there.

The stock pistons in the 330HP crate motor are typical cast dished pistons with ~12cc worth of dish to them. Something FORGED with about 18-22cc worth of dish would be a good choice to get compression down a bit, plus handle the inevitable detonation that happens from time to time when you're sorting out a new blower combo or get a bad batch of gas.

Speed Pro and Keith Black both make reasonably priced forged pistons. There are may other forged piston brands available out there like JE, SRP, Weisco, Mahle and others but they're typically significantly more money.

one more thing how radical could i go on the cam with those
heads? If getting a beefier cam is it always a good idea to upgrade rocker arms like 1.6 and valve springs?

The cam you have listed doesn't look bad to run with a SC.
You want to run some good springs.
Some full roller 1.6 rockers should help though they aren't neccessary.
