If by pipes you mean exhaust and intake tubing, I used 2.5" Summit J-bends to piece together both sides of my piping.
For oil lines, braided steel works very well, but can be kind of expensive. I got mine used from eBay, which made them a little cheaper. Sizing should be 3 or 4 AN for turbo inlet and 10 or 12 AN for the return lines.

If you want to go cheap, have a exhaust shop make you bent 90's and go with steel braided lines. Its worth not having to ever ahve to worry about them ever again. Check out E-bay for mandrel bent 90's and j-bends, they are cheap and good quality.
Def. do as caleb says. You can route everything how you want it.
Plus, you dont need to fully weld it up. Just tack it so it wont move, then bring it to a pro shop and have them tig it etc...
