Nitrous plate with carb spacer
Is this ok to do? I have a 1" carb spacer right now and I'm considering a new NX plate system. Can they both be used together? If so, which one should go on top of the other? Hood clearance is not a problem.

i have been running my spacer on top of my nx plate. ran 11.36 on motor and 10.31 on a 150 shot. with the spacer on top it makes it real easy to change jets. i thought i would try it with the plate on top this year though. when i talked to nx on this very question they said to do test spray and see how it fills the manifold with the plate in both positions.

I have a dual-plane intake (Performer RPM) and a 4-hole carb spacer, not an open one. Is this going to be detrimental to the nitrous charge?

under 150 shot i think you'd be fine on a dual plane, when you get up into the big daddy shots then you'll want a single plane like a vic jr. since that nitrous plate runs a 1/2" alone by itself, i think you could ditch the spacer and try tuning your car at the track with each setting to see how the car responds, not using the butt o meter instead. typically 4 hole spacers are better for low end torque, but if you're blowing the tires off, possibly switching to a open spacer or no spacer at all would be the way to go. Typically after all jetting is determined then a spacer comes into play to get that last little bit out of the motor.
