Don't route it back to the inlet at all. The only reason you would need to recirculate the bypass air, would be if you were drawing through your MAF. Since you're not, just vent the bypass to atmosphere, and cap off the hole on the inlet side where the bypass hose is supposed to hook up.

On mine, I just capped off the bung on the inlet elbow. On the surge outlet, the air will always be blowing out, not sucking in, but I put a filter on mine just to muffle the surge valve noise. I used K&N part # RU-0160 (ATI part# AF057I-4).

I routed mine just like in the procharger instructions and zip tied it as close to the power steering pump as possible and put some heat shield around the hose just in case. It gave about 1.5" of clearance and never burned through.

You find that made a real difference putting that filter on there? Thinking of doing that to mine or using the hose.

It seemed to do a pretty good job of muffling it for me. I just hated the idea of recirculating that air. All it does is gets hotter and hotter as it recirculates. I'm all for eliminating heat any way I can.

I had a plastic/rubber cap from a new torque converter that was laying around the shop that just happened to be an exact fit.
