Surging at full throttle??

Surging at full throttle??
I have an 87 GTA with a L98 in it. I was home on leaving and the car was doing fine then randomly it starting surging at full throttle. It still drives and cruises fine but starts surging at full throttle only. Has anyone ran into this issue before? Thanks for any help.

Would the pump not show more signs that it was bad then jus at full throttle? It surgs driving or parked but only if it's wide open.
