opinions on the wynjammer

this summer i'm thinking i could get enough funds to put one of these on. i will have Rbob's EBL by then, so my ECM will "see" boost, and everything else will be fine(in terms of the bottom end) but do you guys think it will work? i've emailed the maker, and he seems to know what he's talking about, but i dunno.

i would go with the 6psi probably. i just want more power for towing my horses and stuff around. my truck is far from a race car, but i like to pretend. my engine desktop dynos at about 325 hp and 470 tq. the problem is that i never see anywhere close to that because of the altitude at which i live, so i at least want to compensate for my altitude.

thanks for any replies.

It looks like an interesting design. I would like to hear from some one who is using it.

In the pictures it looks like the cog belt is driven by the aternater. So the power to drive it comes from the stock serpentine belt. Is that right?

If so I wonder how much load you can put on a factory belt before it starts to slip? Anyone know?

the maker of them seems to like the alternator drive. i asked him if they'd had any problems w/ losing alternators because of it, and he said no. but ya, i wonder how much you can put on them too.
