Where to get a Turbocharger? Any complete kits available?

Any companies out there selling complete
turbo kits for Chev. 350? 3rd gen applic.?

Or does a turbo system have to be pieced together with various components?

Thanks,
Joe.

I think that Turbo Technologies (or something like that) based out in Tacoma, WA makes a single turbo kit for thirdgens. That's all I've every heard of. Someone mentioned Gale Banks might be making a V2.0 of his turbo kit, but I think thats just vaporware. Piecing it yourself lets you get the best possible combo for your application, but you do need someone to make the headers for ya. HTH!

Turbo tech did used to make a kit, but not anymore. i called them over the last winter and said they stopped making them a long time ago. i did hear however that gale banks was suppose to restart making the turbo manifolds again.

As a dealer for Gale Banks, I can assure you they are again casting the old turbo manifolds. They are good for moderate horsepower, but I recommend porting and ExtrudeHoning them for better breathing. Manifolds will be available in late fall/early winter...

GMI Fast,
What is your hp-rating of "Moderate"?
Up to 500 hp?
After porting & Extrude Honing, what would they be hp-rated/estimated to?
Reason I'm asking is to decide whether to
plan on purchasing them, or looking for an alternate, pending any hp-limitations.
Looking to accomodate 700+ hp from 350 c.i.
build-up.
Thanks, Joe.

For that power level, you can still use the manifolds, but have them ported well. You may see higher boost levels to achieve 700 hp than you would with a more efficient turbo manifold.
