Supercharger on mostly stock 305

For you out there who supercharged a mostly stock engine, I have a 90 ta, 5 speed, 305, chip, 3:73 gears, headers and 3 inch exhaust. Some other minor stuff, but that's about it. My car runs hard for stock, best time so far is a 14.4. My next mod since I need to stay emissions legal is going to be a vortech supercharger. Once I get it installed and dialed in, I would expect mid to low 13 second times out of this combination - what do you guys think? Is this a realistic goal?. Should I consider any other mods before (such as a cam change - I do have the peanut cam!). The closer I can get to the 12's the better!

Check out my buddy's site. He is running a 91 Z28 with almost the same mods as you with an otherwise stock 305 except for 1.6rr's and is making over 380hp and 400-something torque. These specs were reached before we realized that there was a fuel delivery problem and fixed it. Along with a couple of other mods we're optimistic that it's popped the HP over 400 but haven't yet dyno'd it. 1/4 times listed on his site are in the low 14s but those are ver ytraction limited - believe me, he can shift better than anyone I know but his clutch was already toast when he went to the track. He's about to put in a new clutch. I don't know if he'll get out to the track again this year but along with some suspension mods it should add up to a much lower ET.

You don't have the peanut cam The peanut cam is incapable of providing enough airflow to make your car run as strong as it does with as few mods as you have.
