Seriously considering nitrous for 1st time. Need advice
I am thinking about using nitrous but don't know too much at all about non-naturally aspired engines. Can I add a NOS system without too many mods? What do I need to do in order to add, say about a 100 shot of Nitrous? I am planning on adding a 355 this coming spring, so I don't want to do too much to my current powerplant, which is a stock TBI 305 with only exhaust and throttle body mods. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. This is my first time in this particular forum, so I apologize if this is a frequently asked question. Thanks guys.

Your 305 will take a 100 HP shot of spray and be fine.Your stock full and ignition systems will carry it as long as they are up to par.Make sure that the fuel pump is in good working order.Lack of fuel is the number one reson NOS engines fail.Get spark plugs one sted colder than stock and retard timing 2 degrees for vry 50HP of spray and you'll be fine.

Just do as superman says....plus change your fuel filter...
and just to let you know...your engine is still naturally aspirated....but fuel injected....a non- naturally aspirated would have a forced induction... i.e.supercharger,blower,turbo....

Remember...no spray under 2krpm's, and usa a WOT switch...I would also suggest a bottle warmer of some sort. Have Fun
