Can i procharge my 355?

I have an 88 formula w/ a 355 tpi. It has Trick Flow G2 heads on it with the 67cc chambers on them. Now, with a .030 bore like mine, i think im running about 9.25:1 compression, right? I have hyperutectic (spelling?)pistons. Can i procharge it without ****ing anything up. Is my compression too high for the procharger. If not, what kind of boost should i get? Im running about 385 horsies now. Thanks in advace guys, you are all great.

I say you can run 9-12lbs.Start off at 9 and see how thats works out for you.Hyperutectic are a bit stronger than stock cast, but it all comes down to tune.Even untuned forged piston cars can have blown holes right thruw them.Which modle are you considering?

I have the D1SC.That is the new model from Procharger. You can either go with a P1SC or the D1SC.The P1SC is more of a street friendly unit, but the D1SC is the way to go if upgrades to your motor are in the near future and the car is a frequent visiter to the dragstrip. The P1SC will certaintly be up to feeding your motor.Me and Maniac were probably the first ones in the country to even get these kits, unfortunatly they were fitment problems, but, they have all been addressed,so,if you buy a kit, rest assured me and Maniac,I believe engineered this kit,we went threw a lot of fitment issues but they are all solved.I even went so far as to add another idler pully to the already 2 that were on the bracket to improve upon the design.I have sent the bracket to ATI for verification, and most likly the will implement this on the kits.So me and Maniac are the first and formost to speak with if going with these kits.It is a nice unit, the D1SC,and no drilling a hole in your pan eliminates a time consuming process and you can return to stock if desired with no oil in your pan.Oil is changed every 6000 miles, but at the first 500 on breakin.
