fuel pump?

fuel pump?

i am currently doing a tbi to tpi swap,i need to change the fuel pump to a higher flow pump for the tpi.my ? is will a stock replacment fuel pump be enough for a supercharger.if not what gph is needed?

No, it wont. Get an extra in-line fuel pump and then you should be fine. i would say a stocker and say a vortech t-rex pump (very common) could easier flow enough fuel in a third gen for 500hp or maybe more with bigger injectors

Check this address. Walbro pumps are very good and very affordable. The 255lph in tank pump is only 108+shipping.

yep, you can keep your current TBI pump and just add an in-line pump. Also, if this isn't enough fuel for the blower and you dont want to perform the switch for antoher in tank pump, which is labor expensive, you can buy Kenne Bell's Boost a pump. all it does is send about 15volts to the pump so it flows more fuel. it works too, my friend has it done to his 9 second camaro and he likes it.
