considering NOS, many questions inside

First off I have a 89 LO3 wiht 88k miles with an auto trasmission, she runs fine. Doesnt seems to have lost any power.

1. How much would you recommend for my car(100 shot?)

2. Is this somethign easy enough for most people to install? I have replaced many parts on my car so I think I can figure it out.

3. How much would a system cost me?

4. How much is each refill of NOS and approxomately how long does each bottle last?

89 camaro 305 tbi, flomaster 3 chamber cat back, gutted cat, Edlebrock open element, 2 kicker comp 12"'s, polk for the rest. Phoenix gold xs2300 to subs, kicker impulse 404XI to 4 speakers, pioneer DEH- P7000R head unit, and finally a 12 disc changer. Full leather interior from MrMikes.com

I would recommend you stay at or under 100HP shot of spray. The install is easy and strait forward with the NOS kit having the best step by step instructions in the biz. When you install the NOS kit make sure your fuel and ignition system is in top working order.Lack of fuel is what causes most NOS failure.Aslo for every 50 HP of spray retard timing 1-2 degrees and run a one step colder plug than stock. The setup will cost ya around $400.00 or so depending on witch setup ya get.Refills for me cost $30.00 but I have heard people say they pay as much as $50.00 for a refill.Alot of variables make up how long a bottle last, the size shot ya run and how much you use it on a pass. For normal use a I would say around 10 passes and then its time to refill.

Hi,

I would recommend a 125 shot. Anything less is just not enough... anything more and you get into issues such as fuel pump capacity, spark timing etc. You 89 model 700R4 should not complain about a 125 shot (unlike my weaker 86 tranny which slipped into second on the spray).

As Superman said.. follow the instructions to the word.. don't cut any corners..

WHOA!!! WAIT ONE MINUTE!! SUPERMAN!???

You're in Panama City Beach Florida??????

Since when? I didn't know a fellow third genner was in my town..

Steve
