Custom Oil Cooler for SN93?

Hey everyone, i was wondering if i could make a custom oil cooler for my paxton sn93. I'm currently at wyotech and we get chances to work on our cars, after we complete a course and maintained decent grades. Since it's just the sn93 with a low boost application, i was thinking maybe a tranny cooler would do the job if hooked up properly?

Back when they came out there was a oil cooler kit that paxton sold for it. I came with a fitting that would take place of the dip stick. You also have to get an electric oil pump for it. But yes a tranny cooler would work great for it.

I am not talking about making it. I am talking finding one. You can try calling paxton

Craig at Paradise Wheels has the complete oil cooler kits for $250. I bought the dipstick for $100 from him and used an old Holley BLUE pump and a large tranny cooler. Worked fine. The paxton kit comes with a very small fuel pump and a very small tranny cooler.

Paradise Wheels Inc. San Marcos, California is their website.

Later, Kev

Also, sometime around 1997, Paxton was bought out by Vortech (or so it goes) and sold all of the rights, spare parts and tooling for the VS series and the SN series superchargers to Paradise Wheels. They are the only place to get this stuff new. I buy all of the rebuild parts for the SNs , races, ***** and seals, from those guys. Craig is kinda hard to get on the phone sometimes. He sells on ebay under the name mrpaxtonman.

And NO, I'm not affiliated with them at all.... Just a customer, but I chased leads when I was trying to find parts for a "antiquated" SN93 blower .....
