What is the loudest 16 psi procharger I can get is it the P600 the P-1 or the D-1?

Buy Any Procharger except the self contained, self oiled units. If you want more noise install a Pete Jackson "noisy" gear cam drive

------------------

  • 355 cid
  • AFR heads
  • Arizona Speed & Marine hydraulic roller cam w/ AFR hydra-rev kit
  • modified SLP runners
  • TRW forged pistons/ceramic coated
  • fully balanced
  • Edelbrock headers/ceramic coated
  • SLP cat-back
  • Paxton supercharger
  • Nitrous Express nitrous oxide

Maniac has his installed with one more hurdle to go,he has told me the D1SC,self contained unit is loud.I have yet to start mine.My P600B was loud as hell, you sounded like a incomming missle driving around. No ATIs are quiet, they all use the straight cut gears, which are loud by design, but very durable.

I haven't heard the new SCs yet but according to ATI the SC series is quieter than the standard series. I would suppose it is do to the damping effects of the oil contained in the blower housing. They say that the SCs are still very audible though.
