Newbie with nitrous!
hopefully that got your attention, I haven't gotten a nitrous system yet but I have a question I thought somebody would have an answer to. do I have to cut a whole in the floor to run the line and blowdown tube through? why coulnd't I just insulate the lines and run them under the interior plastic, out through the original hole (original wiring bundle exited in the pass. wheel well splash gaurd) and then up into the engine compartment? as far as the blowdown tube, I could route it throught the plastic, into the spare tire well, and out the drain hole already at the bottom. if there is something wrong with this set-up please let me know before I spend the money

You could do it like that but its 10xxxx easier just to run it down the fram rails with your gas line.Thats how I have always installed every NOS kit I've ever put on and have never had any trouble with it.
thanks for that tip, I was just trying to keep from cutting holes in case I ever took the system out. despite how small they would be, it just doesn't seem right cutting up my car! the "easiness" is no problem for me, I swapped in my LT1 myself, and completely disassembled my dash to get to the f***ing VATS module, so I'm friends with tedious work, but I just was wondering about the practical side of doing it that way
Where are you thinking about mounting the bottle? You can mount the bottle in the spair tire area and run the line and the blowdown tube through the drain plug in the bottom without having to drill any extra holes in the floor. The bottle fits in there very well and with the plastic pannel on no one can tell you have a bottle back there. This area will fit a 15 pund bottle with ease so don't worry about any clearance problems. You just will not have a spair tire.
