Why use Helix impeller?

There are two diffrent units from ATI that are self contained, P-1SC and P-1SCH with a helix impeller. Is there any diffrence in performance between them?

They both have the same maximum boost (30psi), flow (1200cfm), and horsepower (825hp) capabilities. The difference would be the shape of the boost curve, but for most apps the differences are minimal.

  • 355 cid
  • AFR heads
  • Arizona Speed & Marine hydraulic roller cam w/ AFR hydra-rev kit
  • modified SLP runners
  • TRW forged pistons/ceramic coated
  • fully balanced
  • Edelbrock headers/ceramic coated
  • SLP cat-back
  • Paxton supercharger
  • Nitrous Express nitrous oxide
